HP-Compaq Zbook 17 g3

    I need to clear the password from the bios. I believe the only way to do that is to replace it or flash in an external device. I have little ability to remove the chip, so I am looking to see if any other way to do this. If possible via booting from USB or from within Windows 10, what do you need me to confirm and then I understand I would have to upgrade my account to download any files.

    You need to be a technician and have the bios programming tool

    The bios programming tool looks to be something that would flash the bios like eeprom uv chips after removal of the bios chip which has to be considered. Is that correct?
