I'm trying to repair a fan spin issue on a MacBook Pro 5.3. The problem with the board is that after starting the 2nd+ time, the fan shortly spins up to full, then comes down to normal speed. I checked all electrical signals and compared them to another logicboard - no difference on first sight. So I wonder if it could be corrupt SMC data and wanted to ask if it is possible to read the whole SMC of a working board and flash it to the faulty one. Because Apple has not released any SMC update on their website, I don't know where I could get a SMC dump. Thanks Alex

I made 32bit and 64bit versions. It also reads the SMC Signature out and shows it. Usage example: ReadSMC.efi OSK 31 It show: OSK0: [ 6f 75 72... insanelymac.com
