    Hi please I need your help.

    This Main Board has one resistor " on fire" (R499) and I can not find the component that is doing this.
    Have you this situation before?
    I alredi change the resistor, but when the adaptor is connected the resistor was burned like a fuse!!!

    Remove the resistance to separate the circuit. Once removed it measures in diode mode (red terminal in GND and black terminal in both points of the removed R). You tell me the measurement values that it gives you.

    This case is common in this model. You must replace KBC (U13) and, once replaced, replace R (R499).
    You already tell me how the repair was.

    I already replaced the Super I/O (U13). maybe is damaged, I wil replace again and reply ASAP.

    Check that the KBC I / O has the same revision. Otherwise, it can cause a worse evil. I hope response!

    Hello Friends,
    With new Super I/O and new resistor but the problem is the same. The resistor R499 continue "on fire"
    Would you please send the Boardview?

    The pin in the center of the connector is fine?

    DC power connector. The center pin must have an insulation plastic. That's why the fault starts.
