    hello, does this firmware have a password?
    flashed and when laptop power's on it ask for a password, how can i remove this thanks

    Password no have in BIOS, model this password in kbc.
    can you need changes kbc.

    Can change chip new.

    have this model with password but i dont find SMSC1618-AJZP on sale ... Can I change for MEC1619-AJZP ??

    you cant ... need to chage with 1618 not 1619 and you need to write the EC kbc ... you find the kbc bump in the bios update

    remove the kbc mec 1618 and programing with rt809H you found the kbc in the bios update 192k . select smcs mec 1609 it same .. and solder the chip on motherboard . if the laptop turn on and no desplay logo go to recovry package from toshoba and copé the contun in usb with FAT format and just remove battry wo put the AC and turn on laptop wait and the laotop read the usb and flash again the bios and kbc and all it ok good luk ... im sorry for my language it not good i hope to undestand

    hey there , this KBC is bga , so how can i program it via keyboard line ? i dont have schematic , so how can i flash it , i got the TL866cs programmer , it does work with outher computers , but on this one i dont know wich wires i have to solder to flash this kbc , some help would be nice

    TL866 CAN NOT PROGRAMMING MCU MEC1618 YOU NEED RT809H FOR PROGRAMMING NEW MEC1618 OR USE SVOD PROGRAMMER BUT THE PROBLEM YOU NEED NEW MEC FOR PROGRAMMING MEC1618
